After our promotion, the distances we travel for matches have increased considerably. This made the purchase of a new team bus not a luxury, but a necessity.

Together with the recent installation of our new artificial pitch, this investment marks another important step in the development of the Academy. The bus is a model widely used across West Africa and enables our players to travel safely and comfortably to school, training sessions, and competitive matches.

Infrastructure may not always be the most visible part of football development, but it is fundamental. Reliable transport, safe facilities, and professional working conditions allow young players to focus on what truly matters: their education, their discipline, and their progress on the pitch.

At WAFA, the objective is to help players improve every day, without losing sight of character development. They are encouraged to work hard, remain grounded, and take responsibility for their own future. Support and structure are essential, but excessive comfort rarely builds resilience or ambition.

Investments such as these are costly, but they are indispensable for an academy that aims to prepare young players for the realities of professional football and life beyond it.
