Forson Amankwah is a WAFA graduate and currently a Red Bull Salzburg player. He had loanspells with FC Liefering and SCR Altach. He extended his contract in October 2023 till July 2027. Forson was in the provisional squad of the Ghana Black Stars for AFCON 2023 in IvoryCoast. Unfortunately he wasn’t chosen. On Friday 22nd March 2024 Forson made his debut for the Black Stars in a friendly against AFCON 2023 runner up Nigeria.
