Bernard is a Feyenoord Ghana graduate. He started his career at Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal. In 2015 he made a big transfer to Atletico Madrid. His biggest achievement was in 2021 with winning both the championship and cup at Besiktas. In 2023 he moved to Saudi Arabia to Al-Tai on a free transfer. Bernard made his debut for the Black Stars ( Ghana National Team) in 2015.
